  2. PRESENT (1990 – Today): The rise of brand-first, star-led, and formulaic spectacle has disconnected cinema from society. Flashover form. Commerce over craft. Recent films like Samrat Prithviraj, Brahmastra, Pathaan, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani, Jawan, and Laal Singh Chadda were devastating from a storytelling perspective. The cost? Audience fatigue and alternate sourcing.
